It's 4 in the morning...

Couldn't sleep. Don't feel like it. It's strange though cause I didn't get to bed until 3 Thursday morning, and I was dragging all day at work. Went home, was in bed by 7, woke up around midnight, went back to bed at 1, got up for work at my regular time on Friday, was relaxed and fresh, and went to bed around 11 last night after the debates. Now I can't sleep. Not in any pain or anything, just restless. I'm trying to work my way back to sleep, but I'm going to end up getting up early soon because I've got some work to do before people start trickling in the house (another baby shower). Don't think it's the excitement of that cause, well, just don't think it's that. Anyway, I'm going to try to count some sheep or something. Good morning!

I have discovered...

I can no longer hit the @ key with my left hand, like I used to. I now have to cross over with my right hand. This, my friends, is the pain that I have to deal with being that the left wrist is totally gone. Well, not totally, but turning and bending like I used to, that capability is non-existent.

I just watched "Heroes" tonight. Wonder what will happen if I went into labor on a Monday night around the time this show comes on? Thank goodness for the DVR, or I'd be screwed!

Peanut now weighs in at 6lbs 14oz. She has far surpassed any of my nieces and nephews, as well as my cousins that delivered this year. I was almost a 9lbs baby, and I'm pretty sure she'll be one as well. Well, that depends on if I don't go into labor within the next few days. Right now, it seems like she's swimming around and making my tummy feel like a real bowling ball.

I guess that's about it right now. My left hand, which is oddly enough not the one I write with, but the one I do everything else with, like drive, one-handed cartwheels, open doors, that one is the one in the most pain. I don't get it! *that hurt* Anyway, seems like the kid is kicking. I'm going to bed now. Good nite! *ouch again*

Again, things are okay!

Went in for my weekly check up today, and everything is still a-okay! I have another ultrasound coming up on Friday, so we'll find out then how heavy little miss peanut is. Also, we have about 2 more weeks before we find out what we're going to have to do it she is still breached. I hope she flips soon. Anyway, that's about it.

Nothing New on the Mommy Front

Okay, so I've been a little behind on the blogging. Usually do these once a week, but yeah, been busy. Mostly working and having to deal with the carpal tunnel (my wrists REALLY hurt), but nothing really big. Went to two of my cousins' baby showers this past weekend, and basically scoped out things that I will need for my baby, like the car seat. Really need to be getting a car seat soon. Speaking of soon, do you all realize that it's almost 5 weeks until the due day? Five weeks, and I made the analogy that I feel like a zit and I'm ready to just pop! For real, she's like sitting so darn low I could just plop her on out, but I'm not ready for that yet.

I don't know, I guess the anxiety is about to kick in. I'm still trying to debate on how I'm going to do my room. My poor mom is flustered. I mean we're all a nervous reck over here. My main questions are how will I even know I'm in labor, and people are always saying "oh, you'll know". Dang it, I want a clear cut answer. I don't want the oh, you'll know crap. Got one answer of the it'll be a menstral cramp times a thousand. So, is that worst than the small braxton hicks pains I'm getting right now? How do I know they're braxton hicks? I'm just a bit confused.

Anyway, thank goodness I'm healthy. My doctor is just drawing blood now to make sure I maintain my healthy living or what not. I'm no where near diabetic, but the baby is still breech. I have to check tomorrow to see if she's turned, or if I have to have a c-section. Good Lord, so many things to think about! I'm going to go and eat some gummy bears and go to bed. I'm too tired to continue to worry so much.

Why is it that there are so many red gummy bears, but a hand full of green one? I don't know, I like the gold ones better anyway.

The Pain Has Kicked In!

Okay, so right now I am suffering from carpal tunnel in both wrists. I've always had some issues with it, but not to this extent. I swear, it's as if someone took my hands and just bent them backwards. It feels AWESOME!! I then as I look down at them, they look crooked. Veins are popping out, swollen. So much iky poo-ness! I have wrist guards that I wear when I'm typing, but then my wrists get swollen again. And why is it that in the corner of the screen...okay, never mind...it was a part of the movie.

And now there's a fly bothering me. Get gone, you little bastard! Don't you just love how the British spell their words properly? Favorite is favourite in proper English! i just love it! Sorry, watching 28 days later, and in one scene it had a video tape that said "Mom's Favourite Recipes". Dude, this movie is crucial!!

But back to me. Yeah, so my wrists are killing me, my shoulders are killing me, and I wish I could get a really good massage right now! About 6 more weeks to go, and I'm tired, and her head pushes on my diaphragm, which causes me to be a little light headed. Well, that's it for my rant. I know normally it's all happy go lucky and cheerful, but I just needed to put that out there for you guys to know that I am human, and I can experience pain. Now, where's that waiver for my epidural?

Baby Shower!

Okay, so today I had my first baby shower, and it was AWESOME!! The ladie that threw it for me were just great. I am so thankful to them for doing this. Peanut got wonderful things, and I know she will be very gratful for what she got. Thanks to you who attended (if you're reading this), and I will have the baby's pics posted when she gets here!
